The name comes from Rajasthan, India, where Saa is a word that carries warmth and quiet respect in a single syllable. Mr. is the man of today - navigating work, cities, ambitions, and everything in between. Together, Mr. Saa represents a way of being: moving forward without losing the thread of where you come from.

Why the short kurta?

Somewhere along the way, certain clothes got saved for "special" occasions. The everyday ones became forgettable.

We questioned that habit.

The short kurta - a relaxed, collarless shirt with centuries behind it - never stopped making sense. It's comfortable, versatile, and easy to wear. It just stopped being worn daily. At Mr. Saa, we bring it back. Not as a cultural statement or a trend, but as something you reach for naturally. Work, a dinner, a flight, a slow morning. Clothing shouldn't wait for an occasion. It should fit into your day.

Why linen?

For our first drop, we chose linen - simply because it works.

It breathes, softens with time, and settles into the body without trying too hard. A fabric that feels relaxed, honest, and lived-in - exactly how everyday clothing should feel.

Mr.Saa is built by a small, family-led team, with hands-on involvement at every stage. Fabric selection, fit refinement, quality checks. Nothing is passed down a long chain.

We work in limited batches. It keeps waste low and intention high. Each piece is made with patience - not pushed through a production line to meet a number.

Sanchita doesn't just run the show - she is the brand's first customer, its toughest critic, and on most days, its most tired yet most enthusiastic employee.

Her path was anything but linear. She took the logic of Engineering, the hustle of Sales, and the grit of being an Executive Assistant - and poured them all into building her own vision. Today, she is our Chief Everything Officer - handling big-picture branding, final packaging, midnight networking, and the very necessary venting sessions that keep the gears turning.

If Mr. Saa feels human, it's because she refuses to let a single detail pass without a piece of her heart - and a healthy dose of her stubbornness - attached to it.
